Dragon Flight

Dragon Flight - Jessica Day George The second book in this series and I have enjoyed so far.Creel is a seamstress with her own shop making beautiful gown's along with her partner and employees as Creel has a gift of creating wonderful embroidered gowns with beautiful designs. But she is getting board a little with life and is up on another adventure with her dragon friends. So she sets out to find her friends (Dragons) in order to prevent her home becoming ravaged by war.Creel decides to aid Prince Luka and his friends by enlisting her Dragon friends to help win the war. But Creel encounters happy news. Two of her favorite beloved dragon friends the King and Queen of the Dragons she thought were dead are really alive and in hiding.Once Creel is with Prince Luka she and her friend find a way into the Kings palace in order to find out more about this King and why her has started this war. She learns that there is a dragon in the palace that is actually controlling the King with mind control of sorts and has collared all the Dragons in the city making them enchanted and doing this dragons bidding but all others think it is the Kings doing. So now Creel is on a mission with her friends to un collar the dragons enticing them to there side in order to win this war and stop bloodshed throughout several towns and her own. With being reunited with Shardas they set to win this war together with there friends and other dragons making it one heck of a ride. This is a young adult book but for any adults who love happy endings and fairy tales this is a book to read. I loved this entire series it was well written the characters lovable and our little seamstress Creel big heart toward her dragon friends and always creating a sewing project along the way to put into action to help win the war.Wonderful fairy tale sorts. Picked up a book by Jessica Day George called the Princess Ball and they listed a book she wrote called Dragon slippers and I could not help but be intrigued by the title and picked it up .Glad I did it was a great book along with the other in the series. Have now add Jessica to my favorite authors list. After reading this book I have now add it to our family library for others to enjoy.....
